More changes to the 2022 Scrapper football schedule
More changes have been made to the Nashville Scrappers Senior High football schedule for the 2022 season. The change this week was the result of Fountain Lake dropping out of the 7-4A Conference to play eight man footballl. Fountain Lake becomes the second district opponent to drop varsity football for the 8 man sport. Earlier this year, Genoa Central also elected to play 8 man football.
To replace the lost Fountain Lake game, Nashville has now scheduled a non-conference contest at Lonoke, against the Jackrabbits. The game against Lonoke will be played on the final night of the high school season, November 4th.
The season opener for Nashville is set for August 26th, at home, against Magnolia. The open date week of the 22 season has been moved to September 30th. That date falls between back to back conference home games against Arkadelphia and Mena.
