MS City Council gets update on sewer issues
Kiron Browning of A.L. Franks Engineering informed the Mineral Springs City Council that he, Mayor Steve Dixon and water superintendent, Jonathan Dykes met with officials from ADEQ about the city’s progress under it’s current Corrective Action Plan.
Browning said the city’s sewer camera will arrive this week and the water department will then start using the camera to find issues with the system.
Browning said ADEQ is also considering placing the City of Mineral Springs under a Consent Administrative Order. He said under this order ADEQ would work closer with the city to resolve the sewer issues. However, it would also move Mineral Springs higher up on the funding list.
