MSES Principal discuss plans for 2024-2025 school year

On Monday night, at the regular monthly meeting of the Mineral Springs School Board, Business Manager Frankie Tollett announced a legal balance of $832,705.33, not including CDs. With the CDs, the balance stood at $903,140.98. The total fund balance was reported as $2,542,327.17. Subsequently, the board approved the financial statement for June.

Mineral Springs Elementary’s Principal, Ruby Dean, has indicated that foundational work is in progress and took the opportunity to acknowledge Kindergarten Teacher Lauren Wilson as one of the teachers awarded merit pay and has been dedicated to education for more than a decade.

The board also passed additional motions to renew the ASBA Insurance Policy, update board policies, and authorize a cafeteria fund transfer.
