MSSD passed 2022-2023 Audit

Monday night during the Mineral Springs School Board’s regular monthly meeting Superintendent Billy Lee shared with the board that they passed the 2022/2023 audit that was perfectly clean and there were no findings.

The board then approved a motion to hire Margaret Macon as the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade Math teacher, Brittany Kuykendall as an aid and Tony Campbell for maintenance along with the approval of one resignation, Misty Smith as an aid.

Business Manager Frankie Tollett informed the board that there was a wire transfer on the financial report. Tollett added that the transfer was a check for the bond payment. Tollett stated that they did have a check written but it was not at the bank in time so in order for them to avoid being penalized she decided to do the wire transfer.

Superintendent Lee announced that the next board meeting will be scheduled for July 15th.
