MSSD purchases tables for outdoor classroom

During the regular meeting of the Mineral Springs School Board, board members were informed the district had an ending balance of $5,277,799 dollars in all of their accounts. Board members were also informed that the district’s utility bills, and fuel bills have almost doubled in the last month.

Superintendent Billy Lee recommended the board approve the purchase of nine tables for the district’s outdoor classroom. He said the total cost of nine tables would be $9,420. Lee said he ordered three – eight-foot tables, three – six-foot tables and three round tables.

The board also approved the district’s 2023-2024 proposed budget.
