Murfreesboro Farmers Market opens Saturday from 7 to noon

The opening day of the Murfreesboro Farmers Market will be Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.  The market is to be located in the city park area behind the tennis courts.  Vendors may purchase booth space at a cost of $5 per day.  A limited number of spaces are open under the newly constructed pavilion.  Other spaces will also be available outside of the pavilion.  Producers will need to provide their own canopy for shade in those areas.

A number of prizes will be given away at Saturday’s opening market day.  Husqvarna will also be hosting a job fair during the event. To reserve booth space, call 285-3131.
