Murfreesboro High School – FFA

The National FFA Week is an annual holiday that occurs for a week in February starting from February 18th to 25th this year. 
National F.F.A. Week was initiated by the National Future Farmers of America Organization — a youth leadership organization, and one of the largest in the U.S., to make a positive difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education.
Today we are going to highlight the Murfreesboro School District FFA Chapter.
FFA Advisor is Reggie Lamb, President Colton Bailey, Vice President Cailey Wilson, Secretary Kyla Collins, Reporter Lexi Rowe, and Sentinel Cole Beck.
FFA Advisor Reggie Lamb stated they have a total of 26 members in the Murfreesboro Chapter. Lamb also discussed the Leadership Development Events.

President Colton Bailey talked about why FFA is such an important part of his life.

Vice President Kaley Wilson discussed what FFA activities she’s involved in and what it means to her to be in FFA. 

FFA Officer Kyla Collins says she’s in poultry and talked about the judging process.

Lamb also elaborated on the grading process during the poultry contests.

Tomorrow we will highlight the Kirby School District FFA Chapter.
