Murfreesboro Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges

A traffic stop in Murfreesboro has led to drug charges against 33-year-old Alisha Pinkerton, according to a Pike County, Arkansas, police affidavit.
The affidavit states that law enforcement stopped Pinkerton after she was allegedly observed traveling 41 miles per hour in a posted 25-mile-per-hour zone.
According to the affidavit, law enforcement reported finding marijuana, a substance believed to be methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia during the traffic stop and subsequent search of the vehicle.
Pinkerton was arrested and faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The allegations contained in the affidavit have not been proven in court, and Pinkerton is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
