Murfreesboro Winterguard Program Receives Honors

The Winterguard program at Murfreesboro High School has participated in the regional competition.

Among the honors received included the Flag group receiving a Superior rating.

Emily Reed and Kenzie Epperly were named Grand Champions in the Ensemble category.

In the solo catgory, Peyton Keys was named Youth Champion and the JR Champion was Kamryn Taylor.

Other soloists selected as champions included Megan Rowton and Kyla Jackson. Runners up included Brittany Laurent, Kailee Backus, Mary Grace Balch and Lillian Supko.

The team will next participate in the national competition.
