Nashville 2020 Graduates To Receive Yard Signs

The Nashville Senior Class of 2020 will not hold their commencement ceremonies on May 17th as planned. Even so, the graduates will still be honored.

Becky Floyd, who taught 38 years in the Nashville District, began a fund raising campaign Wednesday afternoon to purchase yard signs for each of the 119 seniors.

Floyd said she got the idea after seeing one of the signs in a yard.

Floyd put out a plea on social media to raise the money and was able to secure enough pledges to cover the cost of the project.

Once the signs are finished, students will be able to pick them at high school.
