Nashville Advances To Finals Of Junior District Tournament

Both Nashville junior basketball teams have advanced to the championship games today of the district tournament at Scrapper Arena.

In Wednesday’s semifinal round girls games, the Jr. Scrapperettes defeated De Queen, 22 to 21. Nashville will play Mena who beat Bauxite in the other semifinal game.

The Jr. Scrappers needed overtime to secure a 53 to 49 victory over Bauxite. Nashville will face Arkadelphia’s boys after they eliminated Mena Wednesday.

Today’s games tip-off at 6:00 o’clock for the girls championship and 7:15 in the boys game.
