Nashville Begins Play in District Basketball Tournament

The 7-4A District Basketball Tournament moves into its second day this afternoon with four games scheduled at Malvern.

The Nashville Scrappers will be among the eight teams seeing action today. The Scrappers will play in the second game against De Queen scheduled for 5:30. The Leopards advanced with a three point victory Monday night over Mena.

B99.5 will have the live broadcast this afternoon.

Today’s winners will compete in the Thursday semifinal round and will also secure a spot in next week’s regional tournament.

The Scrapperettes will play Thursday afternoon against the winner of today’s Mena/Hope contest.
