Nashville Cancels Annual Spring Clean Up Event

Over the past several years, the city of Nashville has offered a spring clean up event for its residents. That will not be happening this year. Instead, the city has placed a dumpster bin at the city shop property that is available around the clock.

Public works director Larry Dunaway said the bin is for any item, such as old appliances, furniture and other items that are not allowed to be placed curbside for the weekly residential trash pickup.

The city shop and dumpster are located at the former crate factory property on Dodson Street just west of 4th street.
