Nashville City Council

Aldermen of the Nashville City Council held their regular monthly meeting yesterday.

According to the Revenue and Expenditures report for the month of March, the total revenue was $836,502.26 and expenditures were $1,096,474.94. The expenditures exceeded the revenue by $259,972.68. Extraordinary expenses in the General-Admin for Equipment replacement were $76,755 dollars for two 2023 Dodge Durango’s paid to York Gary, for Street Fund Miscellaneous Expense was $24,445 dollars for a dump trailer paid to Tx Pride. Capital Outlay was $117,087 dollars for two payments for the Mount Pleasant Bridge that was paid to Wooster Construction with a remaining balance of $151,505 dollars. City Sales Tax increased 37% which was $36,442 more than March of 2022 and County Sales tax decreased 23% which was $28,760 less than March of 2022.
