Nashville City Council discusses purchase of a new fire truck for the city
The Nashville City Council held their regular meeting on Monday.
Fire Chief, Justin Thornton gave an update on what’s going on with the Fire Department’s trucks.
Nashville Mayor Billy Ray Jones, suggested that the trucks be traded off and to purchase a truck that is in better condition.
Thorton mentioned what was delaying the repair of one of the trucks.
Thornton said they had 177 calls so far this year, 55 of those calls were first responder calls.
