Nashville FFA chapter
The National FFA Week is an annual holiday that occurs for a week in February starting from February 18th to the 25th this year.
National F.F.A. Week was initiated by the National Future Farmers of America Organization — a youth leadership organization, and one of the largest in the U.S., to make a positive difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education.
Today we are going to highlight the Nashville School District FFA Chapter.
President Savannah Jackson talked about what activities the Nashville FFA has been participating in along with being able to pick what teams they want to be a part of.
The Nashville FFA Chapter has a total of 75 students and the group ranges from 9th graders to 12th graders.
Vice President Hannah Purvis mentioned how they introduced the 9th graders to FFA and how FFA helps students with leadership skills.
Jackson talked about what inspired her to be in FFA, what she plans on doing after graduation, and what FFA means to her.
Sentinel Chloe Turbeville mentioned why she wanted to be a part of FFA, what she plans on doing after graduation, and what FFA is all about.
Tomorrow we will highlight Blevins School District FFA Chapter.
