Nashville FFA Chapter Celebrates National FFA Week with Community Impact Projects
As part of National FFA Week, FFA chapters across the country are taking time to highlight their efforts and celebrate the impact the organization has on its members. In honor of this week, KMTB and KNAS are focusing on FFA chapters in the surrounding area, and today, we are highlighting the Nashville FFA chapter.
During our interview with the Nashville FFA members, we had the chance to speak with several students who are deeply involved in the chapter. Senior Chloe Turbeville, who serves as the Student Advisor, explained one of the chapter’s recent projects. Members of the Nashville FFA chapter recently worked on a wood project.
In the interview, Senior Lily McLelland, the chapter’s Secretary, went on to describe the wood project in more detail, highlighting the skill and effort that went into the work.
The Nashville FFA chapter is also gearing up for their annual Farm Day, which will take place on April 1st. President Colton Gilbert discussed what the event will entail, inviting community members to join in the fun and learn more about agriculture.
Blakely Reich, the chapter’s Vice President, added that Farm Day is a wonderful opportunity for kids to gain hands-on experience and learn more about farming and agriculture.
