The evening began with the invocation from senior Raymiah Alvarez, followed by a welcome from Brayden Erby and a Spanish welcome delivered by Angelica Padilla-Galvan.

Salutatorian Karstyn Scrivner reflected on the challenges the graduating class faced throughout their high school journey and the accomplishments they achieved together.

“It’s more than a celebration of diplomas and accomplishments, it’s a celebration of every challenge we overcame,” said Scrivner.

Valedictorian Milagros Sanchez encouraged classmates to remember the community that helped shape them as they move into the next chapter of their lives.

“While this transition is both exciting and nerve wrecking, we must not forget our hometown, our community, and the many memories we’ve made here,” said Sanchez.

School Counselor Beverly Tedford recognized students for their academic achievements and provided a review of the scholarships awarded to members of the graduating class.

Teacher Scott Horne was selected to deliver the faculty charge to the graduates. During his remarks, Horne shared three inspirational quotes with the Class of 2026 as words of encouragement for the future ahead.

The ceremony concluded with graduates singing the Nashville High School alma mater one final time as fireworks lit up the night sky in celebration of the Class of 2026 and their accomplishments.
