Thursday morning, Nashville High School celebrated three more student-athletes who signed letters of intent to compete at the next level.

Tompkins said she has dreamed of playing at the next level since she was a little girl, adding that this year’s Scrapperette softball team is shaping up to be an exciting season.

Baseball coach Zac Stewart introduced Karson Chambers, describing him as the ultimate team player.

Chambers thanked his dad for working with him over the years, along with the coaching staff at SAU, for believing in his potential.

Golf coach Aaron Worthen introduced Manning Goff, saying Goff is a true next-level golfer and an outstanding student-athlete.

Goff said the University of Arkansas–Monticello will give him the opportunity to continue playing golf while studying forestry, following in his father’s footsteps.

All three student-athletes were presented with a pen and case inscribed with the words, “Once a Scrapper, Always a Scrapper.”
