Veterans Day Information

The annual Veterans Day observance at the Howard County Courthouse monument is scheduled for Monday morning at 11 o’clock. All veterans & their families are invited to attend.
Due to the holiday, area government offices will be closed Monday and some trash routes will also be affected throughout next week.
The Howard County rural trash pickup will not be made on Monday. The routes for Howard County will be running a day behind the normal schedule next week with the Thursday & Friday routes both being collected on Friday, November 15th.
In Pike county, the judge’s office says trash schedules for the week of November 11th will be running a day behind the normal schedule and in the city of Murfreesboro, the trash pickup schedule will be a day later than normal with the Thursday and Friday routes both collected Friday, November 15th.
In Hempstead county, trash pickup for Monday & Tuesday will be made on Tuesday, November 12th.
