Nashville Jr Scrappers defeats Fountain Lake Jr Cobras

The Nashville Jr Scrappers traveled to Fountain Lake to play against the Jr Cobras last Thursday. 

Quarterback DJ Jefferson scored the first touchdown for the Junior Scrappers. Jefferson would then score on a 77 yard touchdown. Here is the call by Mike Aylett.

The Jr Scrappers and the Jr Cobras had a scoreless second quarter, but Miles Hawthorne scored on a 67-yard run to put the Jr. Scrappers up 21-0.

The Jr Cobras would then score their first touchdown of the game. The Jr. Cobras recovered an on-side kick and put an additional 14 points on the board, but Hawthorne would score another touchdown, and the Jr Scrappers had an 8 point lead over the Jr Cobras.

Late in the game, the Jr Cobras scored a touchdown, but failed on a two-point conversion and the Jr. Scrappers defeated the Jr. Cobras 28-26.

The Jr Scrappers will host the Mena Bearcats this Thursday on the Hill. Kickoff is at 7pm and B99.5 will have the live coverage.
