Nashville Jr Trap Squad Member becomes number 1 shooter in Arkansas

The Nashville Scrapper Trap Jr Squads competed for the Jr. State Title in Jacksonville last Friday June 2nd.

The Junior Orange Team members are Carter Ewing, Reed Webb, Micah Sillavan, Caney White, and Kaden Hunter. The Junior Black members are Lucas Pennington, Will McGough, Jay Brent Spoo, Emily Wescott, and Jackson Billy.

Head Trap Coach Vicki Cook talked about the competition and what both teams placed in the state.

Cook also mentioned Junior Orange member Caney White competing in the Champion of Champions and how he became the number 1 Junior shooter in the entire state of Arkansas.

That Saturday, which was June 3rd the Senior Orange Squad competed in the Senior State Championship. Those members are Wren Washburn, Casen Hunter, Logan Pennington, Maddox Arnold, and Wade Wescott. Cook talked about how the Senior Trap Squad done at the competition.

Cook discussed what other tournaments the Trap Squad participated in and the benefits of being a part of the Trap Squad along with how much the program has grown.
