The Nashville Junior Scrappers delivered a commanding performance Thursday night, securing a decisive 42-8 victory over the Genoa Central Junior Dragons.

The game began with a bang as Running Back Jakhari Starr sprinted 61 yards to score the first touchdown, giving Nashville an early 7-0 lead.

Quarterback Jacoby Hopson added to the momentum with a second touchdown, extending the lead to 14-0 by the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Starr continued his standout performance with another touchdown, 21-0. The Scrappers’ defense made a key play as Bracen James intercepted a pass from the Dragons, setting the stage for Gauge Applegate to score Nashville’s fourth touchdown, bringing the score to 28-0.
