Nashville man and woman arrested for bootlegging

On July 31, 2024, the Nashville Police Department carried out a search warrant at 616 West Clark Street in Nashville following multiple reports of illegal alcohol sales, or “bootlegging,” at that location. It was reported that many of the customers were minors. The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 1,300 cans and bottles of alcohol.

Two individuals were arrested at the residence: Margarita Pineda, a 63-year-old Hispanic female from Nashville, and Eduardo Pineda, a 46-year-old Hispanic male from Nashville. Both were charged with illegal possession for sale in a dry county and were taken to the Howard County Jail.
