Nashville Man Arrested After Leaving Scene of Accident

Josue Turcios, a 31-year-old man from Nashville, was arrested on April 7, 2025, after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.

According to Nashville Police Department, they were called to Howard Memorial Hospital after receiving a report of a 10-year-old girl who had been struck by a vehicle. Officers spoke with the victim and her mother, who told them that a red vehicle had pulled out of a driveway on Washington Street and hit the child while she was riding her bicycle.

Officers Thomas and Rodgers quickly located the red vehicle and identified the driver as Josue Turcios. Turcios was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license.

In addition to these charges, Turcios is being held in the Howard County Jail with an immigration hold.

The 10-year-old victim’s condition has not been released, but the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
