Nashville Man Arrested After Motel Disturbance

A Nashville man was arrested following a disturbance at a local motel that led to additional drug charges.

On January 30th, Nashville Police Officers Hector Cortez and Jason Icenhower responded to a call at the Rodeway Inn on South Fourth Street regarding a subject who refused to leave the property.

When officers arrived, hotel management reported that a man was in the breezeway between two buildings and would not leave. Officers made contact with the individual and asked for identification. According to the report, the man stared at officers and mumbled incoherently.

Police say the man was told multiple times that he would be arrested for criminal trespass if he did not leave. He reportedly attempted to make a phone call but did not secure a ride and continued to refuse to leave.

He was then taken into custody.

During a search incident to arrest, officers located a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine in his pocket.

Twenty-seven-year-old Keshawn Jefferson of Nashville was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance.
