Nashville man arrested and charged with first degree terroristic threatening
A Nashville man was taken into custody following police response to a potential domestic disturbance at 903 W Grumbles St.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, identified as the suspect’s wife, bleeding from her head, according to the affidavit. The suspect, 49-year-old David Dukes, allegedly approached officers with blood on his hands and clothes, admitting to striking the victim. Dukes was then reportedly arrested.
Dukes’ daughter informed officers that he had threatened that if she assisted her mother in calling 911, he would get his pistol and harm them both.
Dukes was then transported to Howard County Jail and charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and third-degree domestic battery.
