Nashville man arrested for criminal trespassing
A Nashville man was recently arrested for Criminal Trespassing.
According to the affidavit, that on January 11th, 2024, Nashville Lieutenant Clint Tedford and Patrol Officer Jarrett Rogers responded to a residential burglary call at 519 South Ansley Street. The homeowner informed officers that the suspect had fled on foot after being spotted in the back yard.
It was reported that when officers arrived, the on-duty dispatcher advised the officers that the suspect was wearing a black and yellow jumpsuit and was last seen running down the railroad tracks between Front street and Ansley street. Officer Rogers reportedly stopped the suspect at Ansley and Hill street.
The suspect was identified as 21-year-old Jessie-James Gammon. It was also reported that when asked about the break-in, Gammons appeared to be nervous and talking rapidly. As Gammons was reaching into his pocket, Officer Rogers asked what did he have inside of his pocket and Gammon told officers that it was a pipe.
Officers took possession of a clear, glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue inside of it. Gammons was transported to the Howard County Detention Facility and was also charged with possession drug paraphernalia.
