Nashville man arrested for theft of property
A Nashville man is being charged for Theft of Property after Howard County Deputies took a report on Midway Loop in reference to a stolen tractor.
According to the affidavit Deputies had spoken with Jerri Lamb and Tyna Barnes who was the owner of the stolen tractor. Lamb stated that she followed the tractor’s tire tracks and located the tractor on 45 year old James Harberson’s property. It was reported that deputies located the orange Kubota tractor parked in a wooded trail next to Harberson’s residence and that Investigator Blake Eudy who was assisting the deputies knew that Harberson had a felony warrant for his arrest. Investigator Eudy contacted Drug Task Force Agent Greg Harper to confirm that the warrant was valid.
As reported, Deputies made contact with Harberson and asked about the tractor. Harberson stated that Lamb told him that he could take the tractor and fix it. Eudy reportedly made contact with Lamb and Barnes and they both stated that they didn’t give Harberson permission to take the tractor. Harberson was placed under arrest for the felony warrant.
