Nashville man charged with over a dozen felony counts scheduled for trial
A Nashville man charged with one dozen felony counts is scheduled to stand trial September 13th. 44 year old Bryan Dougan is charged with 11 counts of Breaking or Entering and one count of Theft of Property. Police say Dougan was selling truck parts, scrap metal and air conditioner compressors at L&W Scrap Metal from March 25th through early May. On May 10th, an L&W employee recognized some of the vehicle parts as belonging to L&W’s owner, Loyd Woodruff. Police say the parts were taken from vehicles that had been parked on West Dodson Street. According to authorities, Dougan made 43 sales transactions at the scrap metal business, with the total value of the stolen items listed at $25,000 dollars.
Dougan entered a not guilty plea to the charges Wednesday in Howard County Circuit Court. He has a pre-trial date of August 24th.
