Nashville officials hope sidewalk project begins in 2021

The sidewalk project in Nashville is one of the projects city officials are hoping see work on this year. Public Works Director Larry Dunaway says bids on the sidewalk that would extend along 4th Street to Sypert Street will likely go to bid this spring:

Early this year, the city will complete the project to tie in a direct line to Nashville Rural Water and also finish the bridge on East Howard Street that will connect to the bypass. Beyond those items, Dunaway said street paving is also a possibility for warmer weather, if the prices are affordable enough at that time.
