NHS Band Students qualified for All-State
Eight band students from Nashville High School have placed in the regional competition. N.H.S. Band Director Cody Ford says several also have qualified for the prestigious All-State competition:
The 8 students include Alayna Cook–1st Band, 16th Chair-Clarinetā¦Luis Maya–1st Band, 2nd Chair–Contrabass Clarinetā¦Cesar Aguilar-Hernandez–2nd Alternate–Tenor Sax..Jackson Carter–1st Band, 4th Chair–Trumpetā¦James Hamilton–1st Band, 6th Chair Tromboneā¦Ethan Cavanagh–2nd Band, 1st Chair–Trombone..Jackson Manlove–1st Band, 1st Chair–Tubaā¦.and Caleb Cook–1st Band, 6th Chair–Tuba.
Alayna Cook, Maya, Carter, Hamilton, Manlove & & Caleb Cook, have now qualified for All-State competition. Instructor Ford says the All-State event will be held virtually, with results expected to be know in early February.
