Nashville Police Arrest Woman Accused of Shoplifting More Than $1,000 From Walmart

On November 13, 2025, Patrolman Jackie Thomas with the Nashville Police Department responded to Walmart after receiving a report of a shoplifter.
According to police records, Thomas met with the store’s asset protection agent, who reported having video evidence showing 27-year-old Adrianna Hamilton of Hope shoplifting. The agent told Thomas that Hamilton was currently parked at the nearby Dollar Tree. Thomas located Hamilton and escorted her back to Walmart.
Once there, Hamilton was shown surveillance footage from October that reportedly showed her in the checkout line failing to scan several items. The total value of the unscanned merchandise exceeded $1,000.
Hamilton was charged with shoplifting/theft of property.
