Nashville Primary School to Host Kindergarten Signing Day Event on March 13

Nashville Primary School (NPS) is excited to invite families to its Kindergarten Signing Day Event on Thursday, March 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event offers an opportunity for families to officially sign up their children for kindergarten and meet school staff ahead of the upcoming school year.

Christy Young, Kindergarten/1st Grade Counselor at NPS, shared that the event will be an exciting milestone for both children and parents.

In addition to signing up, Vicki Cook, 2nd and 3rd Grade Counselor, mentioned that screeners will be on site for early assessments to help the school better understand the needs of each child. She also noted some of the necessary items families should bring.

The idea for the Kindergarten Signing Day came from former Assistant Principal Hannah Topor, who wanted to create a special event for incoming students.
