Nashville Rotary Club introduced to new Chamber Director

New Nashville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dena Tollett addressed the Nashville Rotary Club last Wednesday, introducing herself and outlining her professional background prior to joining the chamber.

Tollett shared her vision for the organization, noting that one of her primary goals is to grow chamber membership.

She also emphasized plans to collaborate closely with the City of Nashville and the Developing Howard County committee to support existing businesses while actively recruiting new ones to the area.

Tollett reminded attendees that the Peach Blossom Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, and said more than 60 vendors have already signed up. Planned activities include a dog parade, a children’s bike parade, a 5K race, live music, and the Rusty Relics event. She added that the chamber will also begin pre-selling tickets for the Stand Up concert featuring Neil McCoy, set for July 4.

The Nashville Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon in rooms 104 and 105 on the Nashville campus of UA Cossatot.
