Nashville Rotary Club Welcomes New Members

Wednesday afternoon, the Nashville Rotary Club pinned two new members and presented club president Bill Craig the Paul Harris Fellowship Award.

Hunter Green and Mark Cassady were pinned and recognized has official members of the Nashville Rotary Club.

Howard County 4-H members, Abbie Lamb, Caelan Pearson and Nick Trombley informed Rotarians that 4-H would be accepting pre-sale orders for their 10th Annual BBQ Bowl until January 21st. A full rack of ribs is $25 and Cornish hens are $5 each. All funds will benefit provide educational activities for members of the Howard County 4-H program.

Linda Chambers was the guest speaker and she shared about the Women Run Arkansas – Nashville Clinic. She said the program was formed in 2017 and had over 90 participants in 2019. Chambers said the purpose of the clinic was to train women to run in 5Ks. Chambers said the clinic days are Tuesdays and Thursday and begin in March with both morning and evening clinics. She also mentioned there were walking groups, beginner running groups, intermediate running groups and advanced running groups.
