Nashville School Board

The Nashville School Board met in a special called meeting on Friday. Discussion centered primarily around Virtual Learning as the board gave approval moving into this next school year. An update on Esser 3 funding expenditures was given with the delivery of a new bus with more to come. These busses are being equipped with top-of-the-line camera systems which will allow for better monitoring during routes. Classroom cameras were also a part of the Esser 3 expense report with the purpose of being able to identify students who have been in close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19. These cameras will also transmit classroom instruction online and allow for those in quarantine to watch a LIVE feed so as to not fall behind due to days out of the classroom.

New hires for the school district included: Terry McJunkins as Tennis Coach, Lenny Couldron as an ESL learning loss coach, Lorrie Williams moved into a Math Learning Loss position, and Maggie Worthington was hired to fill Williams former Jr. High Math position. Rick Rebsamen was approved to continue his position as the Point of Contact regarding COVID for the school.
