Nashville School Board Accepts Resignations & Makes New Hires
Several actions related to personnel were taken by the Nashville school board Monday evening.
The resignation of elementary counselor Vanessa Keaster was accepted. Keaster has been employed with the district 37 years. Chris Benson, who was hired in April, resigned his position as teacher and assistant high school football coach. Other resignations were accepted from Myra Brand as elementary secretary and from elementary teacher Ashley Waldrop.
Five people were employed Monday. The board voted to hire Brett Burgess as head junior Scrapperette basketball coach. Kelli Webb was employed as counselor at the elementary school, Hilary Solorio was hired as elementary teacher, Valerie Erby was employed for the secretary’s position at elementary school and Clarissa Brizo was employed as a secondary ESL aide.
