Nashville School Board accepts the resignation of NHS Assistant Principal
Friday the Nashville School Board approved a motion to accept the resignation of NHS Assistant Principal Adam Matthews, who has recently been hired as the superintendent for the Foreman School District. Superintendent Doug Graham informed the board that Matthews last day will be December 22nd and Matthews start date for the Foreman School District will be January 4th. The board also approved another motion to hire Kimberly Perez as ESL Paraprofessional for NJHS and NHS for the original date September 25th, 2023. All were in favor of those motions.
Graham also informed the board that the City of Nashville was denied on receiving the grant for the tennis courts so he’s looking into other options to move forward with the tennis project. Graham also reported that they are working to complete the security system on all four campuses. Two out of the four campuses are completed, about 80 percent is done on another campus and the wiring is done at NHS. Graham stated that they anticipate more cameras, more coverage, better cameras, better coverage. NPS principals reported that 75 % of the intercom system at Primary is almost completed.
