Nashville School Board Approves 2027–28 Budget, Moves Forward on Turf Replacement

The Nashville School District held their regular monthly board meeting on Monday, covering key financial and facility updates for the coming years.
Superintendent Doug Graham presented the district’s proposed budget of expenditures for the 2027–28 school year, outlining expected costs and priorities.
Following discussion, the board unanimously approved a motion to adopt the proposed budget.
Graham also addressed the need to replace the turf at Scrapper Stadium, noting the age of the current surface and the importance of maintaining a safe, high-quality field for student athletes.
After review, the board approved a motion to begin the bidding process for the turf replacement project.
In other business, the board approved the payment of bills as presented by Graham and passed a revision to the district’s phone policy.
