Nashville School Board Approves $500 Christmas Bonuses for Employees

The Nashville School District held a brief special meeting on Friday, during which Superintendent Doug Graham recommended issuing $500 Christmas bonuses to district employees.

The bonus will be distributed to 250 employees, totaling $160,000. Graham noted that earlier this summer, teachers also received a $1,000 award, part of the district’s ongoing efforts to support staff.

After discussion, board member Nick Britt made a motion to approve Graham’s recommendation, and Tem Gunter seconded it. The motion passed.

The district announced that the bonuses are expected to be issued on December 5th.
