Nashville School Board approves bids on insurance and floor waxing
The Nashville School Board has approved a two year bid on student and athletics insurance through the Dwight Jones Agency. The annual bid is $31,500 dollars for the next two school years. Superintendent Doug Graham says the current rate is $34,000 dollars.
The board also accepted a floor waxing bid of $84,902 dollars from Brian Brown Consulting. The bid equates to 48 cents per square foot. Because Brown is a school district employee, the bid award has to also be approved by the state education commissioner.
