Nashville School Board Approves Key Staffing Changes Ahead of New School Year

The Nashville School Board held a special called meeting on Tuesday, July 1st, to address several staffing changes ahead of the new school year.
Two resignations were accepted:
Valeria Cordero, Junior Band Director, and
Kristi Thornton, as High School Secretary.
In new hires and personnel moves:
Macy Brecheisen will join the elementary school as a science teacher, replacing Sarah Smith.
Sandra Pinkstaff has been hired as the district’s new specialist for visually impaired students, taking over from Jamison Purtle.
Hadley Lewis will take the reins as Junior High Band Director.
Kaylee Marshall is making an in-district move from the primary school to head the computer lab, replacing Janet Jones.
And Jessi Dugger will step in as an elementary science teacher, filling the spot left by Dara Goff.
All changes were approved unanimously, and new staff are expected to begin their roles at the start of the school year.
