Nashville School Board Holds Monthly Meeting, Reviews Curriculum and Recognitions

The Nashville School District held their regular monthly school board meeting Monday, where members received reports, approved several motions, and recognized achievements within the district.

Superintendent Doug Graham reported on board members’ in-service hours.

Following that recognition, the board approved several motions, including consideration of changes to weighted courses and the approval of errors and omissions insurance and related policies as presented by Superintendent Graham.

Graham also took time during the meeting to recognize Nashville Junior High School and Nashville High School for their accomplishments.

During the curriculum report, Nashville Primary School Principal Nathan Evans spoke about the use of various intervention programs during Scrap Time to support student growth.

Before adjourning, the board voted to set the next school board meeting for February 23rd at 5:30 p.m.
