Nashville School Board – Special Meeting

The Nashville School Board met in a special session Thursday morning discussing a few topics. Primary discussion for the morning centered around an increase in pay for the teachers participating in after school tutoring and Summer School. Superintendent Doug Graham recommended an increase of pay for those teachers from $35/hr to $50/hr. Graham also said that Esser funds would be used to fund these positions and that this proposition would sunset July 31st of 2022. Also, during the special meeting Thursday the resignation of Viridian Gallardo was accepted as well as the hiring of Clarissa Brito – Spanish Teacher, and Cody Ford – Band Director.
