Nashville School District expecting partnership funds for Primary School roof project
The Nashville School District is expected to receive a partnership from the state in supplying a new roof for the primary school Superintendent Doug Graham says although final approval hasn’t been given on the state level yet, he’s optimistic in getting state dollars to help with the nearly $800,000 dollar project:
The district did not receive good news on getting state help to finance construction of an on-campus fine arts center that would replace a worn out Sixth Street Auditorium. Superintendent Graham says he is considering an appeal of the state’s decision:
Construction costs of the fine arts center is estimated to be in the 10 to 12 million dollar range.
