Nashville Schools Looking At Possibilities On Using Stimulus Funds
School districts in Arkansas are expecting to receive stimulus funds related to COVID-19 through the federal CARES Act.
Nashville assistant superintendent Joe Kell says current projections are for the local district to receive nearly 520 thousand dollars in federal funds.
Superintendent Doug Graham says the district will look to spend the money wisely.
One possibility for the additional revenues is for the district to look at improving technology. Graham said the A.M.I. method of learning is getting the job done, however, the district might want to look at finding a better online product than A.M.I. in case another long term period of off-campus learning is required.
