Nashville Scrapper Fishing Team will be hosting fundraiser event Friday

Halton Howard who is a part of the Nashville Scrapper Fishing Team along with Coach Michael Howard spoke to us about their upcoming fundraiser that will take place this Friday June 22nd.

The fishing team will be headed to the Jr. Bassmaster National Championship at Lake Chickamauga in Dayton Tennessee, July 27th through 28th and that’s the purpose of the fundraiser. Coach Howard said the overall trip will be expensive but he’s thankful for the support that the community shows as a whole.

The sides that will be served are baked beans and potato salad. Other donations are appreciated, and they will also have a delivery option as well.
Halton along with his teammate Garrett Westfall was recently chosen as team of the year.

Halton said out of all the sports he participates in Fishing is his favorite. 
Coach Howard said that this is a new experience for Nashville because this is something that’s never been done.

The Fishing Team will be set up at the First Baptist Church Parking Lot here in Nashville at 11am and plates will be available until they are sold out.
