Nashville Scrapperettes and Scrappers Face Camden Fairview in Tuesday Night Conference Action
Tuesday night, the Nashville Scrapperettes and Scrappers squared off against the Camden Fairview Lady Cardinals and Cardinals in another exciting conference matchup.
In girls action, the Scrapperettes dominated the Lady Cardinals with a decisive 59-30 victory, improving their overall record to 17-6 and maintaining an undefeated 5-0 conference record. The win further solidified their position atop the conference standings. Player of the Game honors went to junior Karstyn Scrivner and senior Caroline Dean with 19 points a piece.
On the boys’ side, the Scrappers found themselves in a tight battle. Trailing the Cardinals 33-37 at halftime, Nashville came out strong in the third quarter, edging ahead 55-54. Despite their valiant effort, the Scrappers couldn’t hold on, falling 72-80 in a hard-fought contest. With the loss, the Scrappers now sit at 10-5 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
Looking ahead, the Scrapperettes will be back in action tomorrow for a non-conference matchup against the Vilonia Lady Eagles. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
