Nashville Scrapperettes defeats Little Rock Lady Patriots
Tuesday, the Nashville Scrapperettes Varsity Basketball Team traveled to Little Rock to play against the Lady Patriots.
In the first quarter the Scrapperettes outscored the Lady Patriots 22 to 14. The Scrapperettes also dominated in the second quarter putting 19 extra points on the board making the score 41 to 15. The Scrapperettes would continue to stay in the lead in the third quarter and were ahead of the Lady Patriots 64 to 29. The Lady Patriots would outscore the Scrapperettes in the 4th quarter but the Scrapperettes came out on top with the final score 70 to 37.
The top scorers were Jessie Lyle with 16 points, Shaylyn Lyle and Olivia Dean with 12 points each, and Caroline Dean with 11 points.
Tonight, the Scrapperettes will play against the Little Rock Central Lady Tigers at the Scrapper Arena. Junior Varsity game starts at 5pm and the varsity game will follow.
